Por volta das 5h30 da manhã, assaltantes fortemente armados entraram em pelo menos três motéis localizados na região do Turu. Eles entram como clientes e invadem os quartos onde estão os clientes e casais.
Uma das vítimas relatou que os assaltantes utilizavam de armas de grande porte, como escopetas e fuzis. O donos dos motéis Le Baron, SNON e Caribe se dirigiram ao 7°DP no Turu juntamente com as vítimas para prestar queixa do ocorrido.
Uma das mulheres relatou também a fragilidade existente no local, já outra que trabalha nos guichê de entrada disse que sempre dificulta a entrada de dois a três homens em um mesmo carro.
A investigação do caso ocorre em segredo pelo delegado Gustavo Machado titular do 7 DP. O pedido foi feito pelos próprios empresários para que não espantasse os clientes.
